The pancake breakfast,
without the griddle.
Run your fundraiser as an online auction instead. Same community, same cause, a lot fewer folding tables — and you can set the whole thing up between now and Thursday.
Start free — 1.25% when a lot sells, never more than $1,250 for the whole event. On $999 a year we stop taking a percentage of your proceeds entirely, however well you do.
Four steps, one afternoon
You don’t need a tech person. If you can post to the parish Facebook page, you can run this.
- 1
Claim your address
Pick a name and you've got your own page — yourgroup.pancakeauctions.com — live the moment you finish signing up.
- 2
Add your lots
Photos, a starting price, a reserve if you want one, and when each one closes. The quilt, the parking spot, the principal's dunk tank.
- 3
Share the link
Bidders sign in with Google or Facebook and bid from their phones. Everyone sees every bid land, live.
- 4
Get paid, and receipt it
Card money goes straight to your organization's own account — we never hold it. Cash and checks taken at the table get written down the same way, so one settlement report covers everything. Receipts split what a bidder paid from what the item was worth, so your donors get something their accountant will accept.
Priced like a tool, not a tip jar
Most auction software takes a percentage of what your community gave, or asks your donors to tip it. We charge you, we tell you exactly what, and on Pro and Team we don’t take a cent of your proceeds.
Founding organizations: Pro at $699 a year, locked for your first two years.
For the first 50 groups that sign up, as thanks for taking a chance on something new. Regular price $999.

One software price, printed right here
No quote behind a demo call. And before you publish, we show you the whole sum: gross, minus refunds, processing, and our fee, down to what lands in your account. We won’t publish until you’ve seen it.
Card processing is Stripe’s, at cost
About 2.9% + 30¢, paid to Stripe, not to us. We don’t mark it up or blend it into our own number. Bank payments are cheaper and we’ll nudge your big sponsors toward them. A check costs nothing.
0% of your proceeds on Pro and Team
A flat price, whatever you raise, so your best year costs what your worst one did. And we never ask your donors to tip us. We charge you, openly, and that’s the whole arrangement.
Money goes straight to your account
Funds settle directly into your organization’s own Stripe account. There’s no payout schedule to wait on, because it was never ours to hold.
What Pancake costs as your auction grows
Our fee for one event, by how much it raises online. Card processing is Stripe’s on every row, and cash and checks cost nothing on either plan.

Your success doesn’t increase your Pro bill.
Starter is the risk-free way in. Somewhere around $80,000 raised online, it starts costing more than Pro, and we’d rather tell you that than keep taking the percentage.
Help, priced where you can see it
Everybody’s software says “support included.” Usually that means the groups who need a person are quietly paying for the groups who don’t. Here’s what each kind of help costs and which plans already include it. Paid help is a one-time charge for one event: it never renews and never takes a percentage of what you raise.
Migration
Pro and TeamSend us last year's spreadsheet or an export from whatever you're on now, and we'll have your event built for you to review by tomorrow.
Done for you on Pro and Team. On Starter, you bring your lots over yourself.
Assisted setup
$349 per eventWe build the auction with you on a call: lots, categories, close times, reserves, receipt language. You leave with something you could publish, and the event-night hotline for that event.
Pro includes your first event each year. Team includes 3 a year.
Full event concierge
$899 per eventWe run the build, the preflight checks, and the event-night watch. You handle the room. Worth it for a first gala, or when the whole committee is new.
Available on any plan.
Event-night hotline
Pro and TeamA real phone number, staffed while your auction closes. Email and the forum are fine for a small silent auction, but on gala night you want the number.
On Starter, it comes with assisted setup or concierge for that event.
Text messages
At cost, in bundlesOutbid alerts, closing warnings, and checkout links. Carriers charge us per message, so we pass that cost through. We don't call it free and then quietly cap you.
Team includes a larger allowance before bundles kick in.
Paid for help on Starter? We’ll credit it.
Move to Pro or Team within 12 months and whatever you paid for setup or concierge comes off your first year. A $349 setup brings a first year of Pro down to $650.
The first-event guarantee
Your first auction on a paid plan comes with free emergency support, and if it goes badly for a reason that’s ours, we refund the year. You’re not worried about saving another hundred dollars — you’re worried about standing in a room full of people when something breaks. So that’s the thing we’ll put in writing.
The fiddly parts, handled
Nobody snipes your auction
A bid in the last two minutes pushes the clock back two minutes. Whoever actually wants it most wins — not whoever had the fastest thumbs at 9:59:58.
Live, without the refresh button
Bids appear on every open device the instant they're placed. No polling, no stale prices, no arguments about who bid first.
Reserve prices that stay private
Set a floor so nothing walks out for $5. Bidders see whether the reserve is met — never what it is.
Receipts the IRS recognizes
Record what a donated item was actually worth, and every receipt separates the purchase from the deductible part on its own line. Quid-pro-quo disclosure over $75 is handled for you. We do the arithmetic and the wording; we don't give anyone tax advice.
Cash and checks, written down properly
Somebody always pays at the table. Mark a lot paid by cash or check, note the check number, and it's settled — no fee, because nothing went through us. Every entry records who took the money and when, which is the page your treasurer will want when the board asks.
Nothing goes wrong at 8pm
On Pro and Team, preflight checks run 30 days, 7 days, one day, and one hour out: lots missing a value, guests with no paddle, cards that never got a payment method, receipts still unsent. You find out on a Tuesday instead of in the room.
A receipt for everything else, too
Every bid, every extension, every close, timestamped and exportable. When someone insists they were outbid unfairly, you'll have the record.
Works on a church-hall wifi
Built for phones on bad connections. Bids retry safely — tap twice and you still only bid once.
Your volunteers can run it
Add co-organizers with their own logins. No shared password on a sticky note taped to the parish office monitor.
Your data leaves when you do
Bidders, lots, bids, payments, receipts — all exportable in documented CSV at any time, on every plan including the free one. If you decide we're not it, we're not going to make leaving the reason you stay.
Ready when you are
Claim your address, add a lot or two, and see how it looks. Nothing goes live until you say so — and if you’re moving to Pro from somewhere else, send us last year’s spreadsheet and we’ll do the typing.
